The purpose of the Initial Class Schedule Form is to aid your freshman advisor in the process of creating your schedule in partnership with you and your interests. Each student is required to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours to graduate. Of the 120 hours, 27-38 hours must be from the LWC CORE Essential Learning General Education Curriculum.

Once you complete this form, an appointment will be arranged between you and your academic advisor. During this time you will have the opportunity to discuss your course selections, possible major(s) and/or minor(s), and your future goals as an LWC student.

In order to help ensure academic success, there are some registration restrictions based on ACT/SAT scores. Based on this information, we will ensure you are placed in the correct course(s).

A typical first semester schedule is between 14 and 16 credit hours.
